The Association of St. Augustine High School Alumni - DFW
2022 Purple Music & Food Festival
About the Purple Music & Food Festival
The Association of St. Augustine Alumni – DFW Chapter’s Inaugural Purple Music & Food Festival is another of our premier fundraising events that focuses on raising awareness and support for our alma mater’s 69-year mission of educating and molding deserving young black men in New Orleans to become leaders equipped to have global impact. The festival is designed to provide a small taste of the NOLA Jazz Fest and if you’ve never been, you are in for a real treat!
The Purple Music & Food Festival will feature music of all types including Jazz, Blues, Pop, Hip Hop and R & B. The event targets all DFW residents, professionals, musical artists, businesses and other community-based organizations. Attendees will experience the flare of true New Orleans hospitality, music, food and fun. When complete, everyone will have had the chance to sample a variety of great food, great sounds and learn a little bit about how their support helps St. Aug fulfill its mission and improve the lives of its students and their families.
