Keith Johnson
Keith Johnson is a 17-year-old and a rising senior at St. Augustine Senior High School. He has maintained a GPA of 4.2 and above. A motivated and sports-oriented young man, he has competed in both football and track, building discipline and teamwork skills. Keith has taken the ACT and is determined to improve his score as he prepares for college. He recently visited several HBCUs in Atlanta, fueling his passion for higher education. For the past two years, Keith has built a strong relationship with his mentor, whom he relies on for guidance, encouragement, and support as he navigates his academic and personal journey.
Warren Mellion
Warren Mellion is a hardworking, respectful, rising senior at St. Augustine Senior High
School and the 2024 Mentee of the Year. Warren is employed at Felipe’s Mexican
Restaurant and its neighboring ice cream parlor, where he demonstrates strong
responsibility and customer service skills. Known for his positive attitude, great
follow-through, and willingness to support other mentees and their families, Warren is
both goal-oriented and dependable. Over the past two years, he has developed a
strong, meaningful relationship with his mentor, leaning on that guidance as he
continues to grow academically, personally, and professionally.


Dwayne LaBranch
Dwayne LaBranch is a 16-year-old rising 10th grader at St. Augustine High School with
a strong academic record, maintaining a GPA above 3.6. He is actively involved in
football, track, the Real Estate Club, and First Generation Investors, a financial literacy
program that has helped him build a solid foundation in money management and
investing. As a focused and ambitious student, Dwayne is already setting clear college
and career goals, determined to create a successful future through hard work and
dedication.
